My sports broadcast indulgence goes back to my childhood. Calling games in my family basement was a daily occurrence. As a teenager, I shadowed a local sports channel anchor and visited some news studios. Along the way, I have met many people in the industry and appreciate their mentorship and guidance.

 

I have gained a wealth of practical broadcast experience and have refined my skills via a number of sports internships throughout my college career. I realize the commitment and dedication it takes to be a professional broadcaster and I welcome the challenge.

 

My internships are varied and a unique one involves doing play-by-play and video for the Paralympic Sports Club of Columbus. I had the idea to help out and honor these athletes and broadcast it live on Periscope and it is my hope that they enjoy it.

 

Outside of sports, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and am an aspiring yellow lab owner.
